Department Overview

The Computer Studies programme provides students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in computer science and information technology. The curriculum covers computer programming, database management, networking, web development, software engineering, operating systems, computer hardware maintenance, cybersecurity, and data analysis, preparing graduates for careers in the rapidly evolving digital and technology sector.

The programme is approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). Graduates acquire the technical competence and professional skills required to work in software development, information technology support, systems administration, networking, database management, and other ICT-related fields. They are also well-prepared for further studies and professional certifications in computing and information technology.
