Dr. Femi Kayode is a distinguished education administrator, governance expert, and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management with nearly four decades of outstanding leadership and administrative experience across Nigeria's educational system. His career spans primary education, secondary education, colleges of education, polytechnics, and universities, where he has consistently demonstrated excellence in institutional administration, policy implementation, and organizational development.

He began his administrative career in 1983 at the Ogun State College of Education, Ijebu-Ode (now Tai Solarin College of Education, Ijagun), rising through the ranks to become Registrar from 2001 to 2005. Following the institution's transition to Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun—the first specialized university of education in Nigeria—he was appointed the pioneer Registrar, serving two consecutive five-year terms from 16 December 2005 to 15 December 2015.

Beyond the education sector, Dr. Kayode has held several strategic public service appointments. He served as the Founding Manager of Lafenwa Community Bank (now Lavender Microfinance Bank), Sole Administrator of Ogun Waterside Local Government, and Executive Secretary of the Ogun State Primary Education Board (now Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB). His wealth of experience has significantly contributed to public sector administration, educational governance, and institutional development.

Following his tenure as University Registrar, he served on sabbatical appointment at D.S. Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Itori, as Principal Lecturer and Dean of the School of Management Sciences from October 2016 to August 2019. Upon returning to Tai Solarin University of Education, he served as Deputy Registrar and Secretary to the Postgraduate College and chaired the Registry Training Committee, where he coordinated an intensive twenty-six-week professional development programme for administrative personnel. He retired from the University in June 2022 after an exemplary career in public service.

Driven by an enduring passion for educational administration, Dr. Kayode joined De Potter College of Health Technology, Oru-Ijebu, as Registrar on 2 March 2026. He continues to provide strategic leadership, administrative excellence, and institutional support toward the realization of the College's vision of producing highly skilled healthcare professionals.

Dr. Kayode has authored several academic publications, including journal articles and book chapters, and has participated in numerous international conferences across the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Scotland, Dubai, China, Ghana, and South Africa. His lifelong dedication to education, leadership, and public service has earned him widespread respect within academia and beyond.
