De Potter College of Health Technology is a privately owned College of Health Technology duly and fully registered with Corporate Affairs Commission and approved by the Ogun state Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The College, is accredited by the Community Health Practitioner 's Board of Nigeria (to run all Community Health Courses), Health Officers Registration Board of Nigeria, ( to run Health Information Management Programme) West Africa Health Examination Board and Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (to run all course in Environmental Health and Public health), Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria ( MLSCN to run Medical Laboratory Technician Programme), Pharmacy Council of Nigeria ( PCN to run Pharmacy Technician programme) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
The college offers medical training for prospective health workers in community health, Environmental health, public health, medical laboratory, pharmacy technician and health information management. The training is available for fresh secondary school graduates ( who are interested in health related courses), graduates who desires further in health discipline, as well as in service students and other persons with health related qualifications.The high demand for medical personnel of all cadres in the Nigeria health sector make the training not only worthwhile but challenge, deeply fulfilling and profitable.
The college offers standard laboratory which satisfy the requirements of the curriculum and a stocked library that has passed the acid test of accreditation teams, a library which eases the book need of the students as well as spacious and well ventilated classrooms which support the tedious work required for the medical field to guide the students through research, both paper based and online as well as community diagnosis. The e-library with modern computer and internet facilities is also complementary. Apart from the strictly academic matters, the school devoted time for well being of the students. Hostel facilities are provided for students who are interested and social amenities and adequate. Other events like sports day, Fresher's day, SUG activities and Health Week all complement the teaching leaning process.
The college is managed by seasoned tutor and administrators. The students of the school receive at the minimum, the same quality of training as available to the students of institution in Nigeria.

De potter college of health technology has raised the bar so high that even the teachers understand the standard and work hard to achieve it knowing quite well that health related matters are not often the type to give second chance. The admission process for the 2023/2024 session has commenced. Intending candidates are free to come to the school to obtain entry forms. The school is located along the road from Oru -Ijebu heading to ijebu Igbo town in ogun State in a location very conspicuous to travelers along the route.
To determine the extent of health problems by identifying unmet needs, assessing potentials, establishing a medium for goals realization by matching needs and resources as well as considering actions that can redefine lost hope.
To train middle level health care providers thereby promoting the health care delivery system within the State and Country in general.
